(ABC 6 News) -- Rochester police say Samuel Carlson is facing additional charges after police say he repeatedly called a woman from jail. Carlson is court-ordered not to contact the woman after he allegedly assaulted her and held her against her will earlier in June

Carlson was in the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center on charges stemming from that incident, for which he was arrested on June 11.

Over a period of two days in the time since he's been in jail, Carlson allegedly called the woman repeatedly. Those phone calls are recorded, and Olmsted County Sheriff Captain Scott Behrns said Carlson is now facing five felony charges for violating a DANCO (domestic abuse no contact order).
