Months-long drug investigation leads to arrest

(ABC 6 News) -- A Rochester man was arrested Friday after a months-long drug investigation. 

According to Rochester Police Lieutenant Mike Sadauskis, the department's Criminal Interdiction Unit (CIU) spent months investigating 31-year-old Mason Zill.

Lt. Sadauskis said, working with confidential informants, Zill sold a total of two ounces of cocaine as well as marijuana vaping cartridges. 

Zill was arrested at his home on the 1800 block of 24 St. NW in Rochester around 11 a.m. on Friday, November 15. 

Zill is facing several charges including two counts of 1st-degree controlled substance sales, four counts of 2nd-degree controlled subtance sales in a school/park zone, one count of 2nd-degree controlled substance possession, four counts of 3rd-degree controlled substance possession in a school zone, and one count of 4th-degree controlled substance sale of marijuana in a school/park zone.
