Two Arrested in Drug Bust; 3-Year-Old Home at the Time

(ABC 6 News) -- The Rochester Police Department's Criminal Interdiction Unit conducted a search warrant Wednesday morning, December 12 after an ongoing investigation that began in October. 

The CIU team carried out that search warrant at a home at 739 55 St NE. Rochester Police Lieutenant Mike Sadauskis said there were two women and a 3-year-old inside the home at the time.

Lt. Sadauskis said officers found a total of about 1.5 ounces of methamphetamine throughout the house, mostly in bedrooms. Lt. Sadauskis said some of it was in reach of the child. He said there was also drug paraphernalia in the home including scales and packaging. 

Two people were arrested; 32-year-old Amber Hollenbach and 32-year-old Haley Larson, who both live in the home. Hollenbach is facing charges of 1st-degree controlled substance sales, 2nd-degree controlled substance possession, and storing methamphetamine paraphernalia in the presence of a child. Larson is facing charges of storing methamphetamine paraphernalia in the presence of a child as well as possession of hypodermic needles. 

Child Protective Services was called to take care of the child.
