(ABC 6 News) -- Members of the Rochester Police Department's Criminal Interdiction Unit said they saw 31-year-old Michael Cozik walking near Slatterly Park in Rochester around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24. Cozik had a felony warrant for a drug charge, and is also a suspect in a domestic assault case last week, according to Rochester Interim Chief John Sherwin.

Interim Chief Sherwin said Cozik took off running when he saw the officers. Officers set up a perimeter in the area of the 800 block of 11 Ave SE. Cozik allegedly tried to break into a 93-year-old woman's home, scaring her. She apparently yelled at him to leave and he kept running, eventually hiding on a roof of a garage nearby, said Sherwin.

Cozik was arrested and is facing possibly fleeing police and burglary charges,  in addition to the warrant. The domestic assault case is also still under investigation.
