Authorities on the Lookout for Truck Reportedly Stolen out of Rochester

(ABC 6 News) - Authorities are on the lookout for a truck reportedly stolen out of Rochester.

According to the Rochester Police Department, around 9 p.m. Wednesday the 34-year-old truck owner started his pickup using a remote starter when another man jumped in and took off.

The owner told police he and a friend attempted to stop the theft by jumping on the truck but both fell to the ground suffering minor scrapes.

Police said the truck was spotted later that day at a gas station but when they attempted to approach it the suspect took off.

The truck is described as a White Ford 350 with 37 inch tires, a roll bar with "KC" printed on the back and license plates YBW 2833.
