Rochester Man Facing Possible Charges of Drug Possession

(ABC 6 News) - Authorities have arrested one person and are looking for another in relation to drugs and drug sales.

According to the Olmsted County Sherif's Office, deputies executed a search warrant at a home on the 1600 block of Marion Road SE around 9:20 Saturday night in an effort to locate Gregory Garrido, who is wanted on a warrant for 3rd-Degree drug sales of a controlled substance.

When deputies arrived they saw multiple people at the residence including a man packaging what appeared to be controlled substances.

When the man and several others exited the residence they were taken into custody.

Deputies identified the man who had been observed packaging substances as 24-year-old Javier Becerra Jr. and said he had 1.37 grams of cocaine, 3.95 grams of what authorities believed was marijuana and 20.56 grams of an unidentified white powder possibly used as a cutting agent, on his person.

He was arrested and is facing a possible charge of 5th-Degree Controlled Substance Possession.

Deputies said the other men were released, and that they are still looking for Garrido.
