Mahad Mohamed, 23, and a 17-year-old were in a car that was stopped in the 1200 block of 12th Street SE.

During the stop, Mohamed allegedly told officers he might have drugs hidden in his body, but the report says Mohamed had handed a bag of cocaine to the teenager to hide before officers approached the vehicle.

Both were taken to jail and strip-searched; the 17-year-old had an ounce of cocaine hidden, said Lt. Mike Sadauskis.

A quarter-ounce of marijuana was allegedly found in the interview room chair where Mohamed was sitting.

Both suspects could face felony first- and second-degree drug charges; Mohamed also faces a charge of possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle.
