(ABC 6 News) -- We try our best to avoid them, but potholes are popping up across the region.
MnDOT crews have been using a cold-weather mixture to temporarily fix the potholes. With all this water seeping into the asphalt, it's creating a lot of problem areas.
While MnDOT handles the potholes on state roads, towns like Kasson handle city roads. They take the same approach as MnDOT and fix as many potholes as they can when the ground is still frozen.
