With two rounds of severe weather expected on Saturday, what can you expect for the the day? Throughout most of the late morning through the mid to late afternoon, showers and thunderstorms are going to be moving from west to east. All modes of severe weather will be possible however, strong winds will be the main threats but an isolated tornado threat along with small hail will be a threat as well.
Overcast skies will continue to sit overhead with winds turning out of the north. That means that cooler and drier, more comfortable air, will start to push into the area starting later tonight. Once the second line of storms move through, post frontal, scattered storms will be possible. A few of those may be severe however, the likelihood would be minimal.
