(ABC 6 News) -- A pick-up truck was stolen Tuesday morning while the owner was plowing snow from the parking lot of an area business.

Around 1 a.m. on March 6, the owner of the 2003 Chevy Silverado pickup truck said he was on his skid-loader, plowing a parking lot on the 2100 block of 32nd Ave. NW, when he saw his truck drive off.  The victim told Rochester Police he believed a person may have gotten out of another pickup truck that was driving through the area around that time, and got into his truck.

Authorities located the victim's truck later Tuesday morning, abandoned, in a ditch in Wabasha County.

If you have information that could help authorities, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
