We're back talking about possible Flash Flooding with heavy rain from overnight storms. Deja vu? Kinda. It's a similar timeframe. Watch the rain build up after midnight with heavy rain impacts through mid-morning.
A stationary front is the focus for overnight activity. Persistent downpours will likely leave some streaky spots over SE Minnesota looking at 2-3" of rainfall. If it comes too quick that'll be a problem.
There is a bit of uncertainty as to the front's position. But favored heavy rain will be more common over SE Minnesota vs north Iowa. A Flash Flood Watch is in place for all of Thursday for areas that appear more certain to see persistent soakings to our north. Basically... SE Minnesota is on the edge.
