(ABC 6 News) - An Osage High School student who made an alleged threat on social media has been taken to a juvenile detention center and could face further consequences.
The Osage Police Department said school staff was made aware of the alleged threat on December 12 and contacted law enforcement.
The investigation so far has determined the threat was made on social media and involved violence with a firearm against Osage Community School.
The juvenile was charged with Threat of Terrorism, a Class D Felony and that a detention hearing will be held at a later date, according to police.
Police also said there is a likelihood that the juvenile could be suspended.
An investigation into the alleged threat is ongoing.
