(ABC 6 News) -- Multiple local fire departments responded to a fire in rural Rochester. It happened just before 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25 at 7255 Silver Creek Rd NE. A man working on a 1,000-foot communication tower saw the fire at a distance and called 911.

According to Olmsted County Sheriff's Sergeant Kirby Long, when deputies got there, the barn was already collapsed. Sgt. Long said the barn hadn't been used in years. There were no animals inside and nothing was being stored in it.

Sgt. Long said there doesn't appear to be anything suspicious about the fire.

The total loss is estimated around $15,000.
