Update: Mitchell Co. Sheriff's Office Arrest 2 in Vandalism Case

(ABC 6 News) - According to the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office Facebook Page Ryan Lynn Root, and Jon Dale Crews have been arrested in regards to the Pinicon Alders vandalism case. The Sheriff's Office added it would like to thank the public for their assistance with finding those believed to be involved.

(ABC 6 News) - UPDATE:  The Mitchell County Sheriff's Office is asking the owner of this white pickup truck to come forward with any information about the damage that occurred at a Pinicon Alders cabin on March 14.

A reward is being offered for information in a vandalism investigation in Mitchell County.

According to Mitchell County Conservation, damage to a cabin, an outhouse and multiple signs in Pinicon Alders north of McIntire was reported on Tuesday, March 13.

There has been no official estimate on the damage yet but the conservation office said one insurance adjuster did say the damage could possibly be estimated at $20,000.

The Mitchell County Sheriff's Office is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
