(ABC 6 News) -- Authorities said meth was discovered on an Oronoco man while they were booking him at the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center.

Just before 8:30 a.m. on March 3, a deputy recognized a man driving on the 10 block of Minnesota Ave. in Oronoco, and had reason to believe he did not have a license based on a previous incident. According to Captain Scott Behrns, the deputy pulled the driver over after observing driving conduct that justified a traffic stop.

Captain Behrns said the driver, 58-year-old Daniel Hennessey, was taken into custody after the deputy discovered he had no insurance and a revoked license. While being booked at the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center, authorities said they found 1.25 grams of meth on Hennessey.

Hennessey faces a number of charges; including fifth-degree controlled substance and driving after revocation.
