In-Depth at 6:30: SE Minnesota Addresses Mental Health Crisis with New Facility (Part Two)

(ABC 6 News)-- Suicide is the 8th leading cause of death in Minnesota among kids between the ages of 10 to 17. As mental health is often in the spotlight, southeastern Minnesota is adding a crisis center as being one of the many steps taken to those who need help.

The crisis center is a multimillion dollar project ready for its groundbreaking this year.

The initiative is a collaboration among Olmsted Medical Center, Mayo Clinic, NAMI, and Zumbro Valley Mental Health center. In the first part of our series at 6:30, we talked to those in the forefront of the project, OMC and Mayo Clinic
