Trying to make some plans for Memorial Day weekend? We're in the midst of an active weather pattern but we'll find some dry moments to enjoy the holiday. The best prospects for dry weather will easily be Sunday. Must of Saturday should be fine too, but a minor isolated t-shower may pop-up during the mid-day.
Memorial Day will be the one to watch. Our next system will be drawing with a good alignment for being four days out to be thinking about the possibility of strong/severe storms. It's a bit too early for specifics given the complexity of the time period. It appears we'll have two windows where rain is in the works. An early round shouldn't be too concerning. However, a second wave, provided there's time to rebuild thunderstorm energy, will be the one to watch with the setup at play during the afternoon/evening.
If you have plans for outdoor activities on Memorial Day, keep track of the forecast. At minimum, it appears to hold some soggy stretches and that possibility for a strong storms.
