Our next round of snow is right around the corner and has already prompted winter storm watches to go into effect starting Monday afternoon; not only will the winds be much stronger than our last round but the snow is expected to be significantly more measurable. As it stands as of Sunday afternoon, most of the area will be underneath the threat for an additional 4-6" of snow with places farther east underneath the threat for 6-8" of snow.
There's still room for some minor changes in the systems path which may changes possible snow totals so make sure that you are staying with ABC 6 News for the latest forecast. Because of the stronger winds expected, localized higher amounts are going to be possible due to drifts/blowing snow.
