1 Person in Custody After 5 Stabbed at Mason City Bar

(ABC 6 News) -- One person is in jail, after multiple people were stabbed at a bar in Mason City Wednesday night.

According to the Mason City Police Department, they were called the bar 'Place 2B' at 10:15 Wednesday night after a report of a stabbing.

Police say, the suspect had stabbed multiple people and was detained at the scene.

The suspect was asked to leave the bar by staff due to unruly behavior, but shortly after returned and stabbed 5 patrons. Most of the victims were stabbed in their neck and head regions and were treated at a nearby hospital.

The suspect, Raul Millares Arias (39) of Mason City was arrested and charged with five counts of Willful Injury, a class C felony.
