(ABC 6 News) -- Authorities say a man from Texas, who did not have a valid driver's license, was injured after failing to pass another vehicle safely on the road.  The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff's Office says, Willie Woodson of Dallas, Texas, was driving east on 300th Street in Cerro Gordo County when he attempted to pass another motorist. During his attempt to pass the vehicle, Woodson lost control of the vehicle and entered into the ditch -- flipping and rolling over several times. The vehicle, a 2013 Silver Ford F150, was seriously damaged and Woodson suffered minor injuries.  Woodson was taken to Mercy One where he was treated and released.  Woodson has since been cited for Failure to Maintain Control, Unsafe Passing, No Valid Driver's License, and Violation of Financial Liability Coverage.
