Funeral scheduled for second teen in deadly Mabel crash

(ABC 6 News) - The funeral for the 15-year-old involved in a deadly crash in Mabel on New Year's Day has been scheduled.

According to an obituary posted online, Spencer Douglas died Saturday surrounded by his family at the hospital.

Spencer's funeral is scheduled for Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 9:00 - 10:45 a.m. Friday before the funeral.

Spencer is one of three teens involved in a deadly crash in Mabel. 

Officials say a semi collided with their car at an intersection on Highway 44.

17-year-old Dylan Delaney was pronounced dead at the scene. The 19-year-old driver, Lauren Bedard, is recovering at a Mayo Clinic facility.

The family says, "this is a very tragic accident for all involved including all of the firefighters, police officers, first responders and EMTs."

Accounts for donations have been set up for all three teens involved in the crash.

The driver of the semi was not hurt.
