(ABC 6 News) The Mower County Sheriff's Office says the man accused in a November standoff in Lyle has turned himself in.

Officials say Dana Alan Plotts turned himself in Tuesday morning.

Plotts has been on the run since officers tried to serve a search warrant to his home on November 19.

Officials say the warrant was issued due to Plotts having three active warrrants at the time.

When first responders first entered the home, items inside raised concern for safety.

Officials had been searching for Plotts since the standoff.
