UPDATE: The Dodge County Sheriff's Office said 2nd-degree murder charges are now pending against the wife of a man whose body was found at their Blooming Prairie home in late March.

According to the sheriff's office, they believe she may be in a stolen, white 2005 Honda Acura TL with Florida license plates Y3T7AA.

She is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

(ABC 6 News) - The U.S. Marshal Service in Minnesota has reached out to Florida officials for help in finding a "person of interest" in a local murder case.

Deputy U.S. Marshal John Kinsey, of Fort Meyers, said his office has been contacted to assist in the search for 56-year-old Lois Riess.

A warrant was issued for her arrest late last month in connection with the shooting death of her husband, David Riess.

His body was found in their rural Blooming Prairie home on March 23 but investigators believe he died about two days earlier.

She's also been charged with felony theft and is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from David's bank accounts between March 16 and March 26.
