(ABC 6 News)-- The question that surrounds the Red Flag Bill that was passed last week in the House is, should a court be able to put in place a "no gun" order toward someone deemed dangerous?
As it circles in the legislature, it has been stirring up a lot of reaction and gaining a lot of attention.
Those against the bill say it's another step by anti-gun advocates to infringe on a person's right to bear arms, however, those in favor say this policy is a common sense way to reduce mass shooting and gun suicides.
ABC 6 News at 6:30 went in-depth on the debate with a mother, Alisha Eiken, who explains why she went from nursing to activism and a man who works in mental health as a professional, Dr. Steve Lansing, who is also active with the NRA.
