Law Enforcement Investigating Armed Home Invasion

(ABC 6 News) - The Goodhue County Sheriff's Office is investigating a reported armed home invasion that happened Monday morning in Cannon Falls Township.

In a press release, the sheriff's office said around 8 a.m. two men rang the doorbell at a home on 90th Avenue Way and forced themselves into the home.

The husband and wife told law enforcement they were held at gunpoint by one suspect while the other went through the house.  After about 30 minutes the victims said they were tied up and the suspects left, taking guns and cash with them.

The first suspect is described as a black male in his 20's, 5'11"-6'0", 170-180 lbs., thin build, black beard wearing a stocking cap, black pants and a lime green safety vest.

The second suspect is described as a black male in his 20's, 5'10", 150-170 lbs., thin build, short hair, clean shaven with a stud in his left ear.  The victims described him as talking softly and said he was wearing a black coat with partial letters GA on the front, jeans and silver/blue athletic shoes.

Their vehicle is described as a light blue or light green sedan of unknown make, model or license plate.

Investigators said they determined the vehicle left westbound on Highway 19.
