Christmas is right around the corner and I think it's safe to say that this question is on everyone's mind, will it be a white Christmas? Statistically speaking, 3 out of every 4 Christmases have snow on the ground which may be the case this Christmas. But what will be working against our favor for a white one is our 50% chance for warmer than normal temperatures through the end of December. Now, that doesn't mean our temperatures are going to always be above freezing and we'll melt away all the snow that's on the ground. But, that does mean we have a 50% chance for our temperatures to be warmer than 24 degrees; that could be by a degree, that could be by several degrees. What is going to be working in our favor for a white Christmas is the fact that through this same timeframe, the 24th through the 30th, our precipitation chances will also be increased.
