(ABC 6 News)-- The affordable housing crisis is nothing new to southeastern Minnesota. With the ever growing population within the region, the crisis only becomes more apparent as many are searching for an affordable place to live and settle down in.
New housing commissioner, Jennifer Ho, helped ABC 6 News break down the complex issue and what is being done on a state-level to tend to the crisis.
With more of a local perspective, Melissa Brandt with Students in Transition, shows us with what is being done in the area to help our students to be able to live a normal school life without worrying about where they will go home to.
