(ABC 6 News)-- State lawmakers are having to re-vote on millions in funding for Highway 14. The re-vote is from what some are calling a "glitch" in the language of the bonding bill presented last May.
The Highway 14 project was approved for $100 million in funding to fix the two-lane section on what is known as the deadliest stretch of road between Dodge Center and Owatonna.
However, ABC 6 News learned that a wording "glitch" lead a few of our local lawmakers to believe the funding was in jeopardy.
To clear up on what that technicality issue was, Minnesota Management and Budget Commissioner Myron Frans sat down with ABC 6's Betsy Singer to expand on what that wording problem is.
