(ABC 6 News)-- It has been dubbed as one of the deadliest state highways in Minnesota.
Highway 14 claimed two lives this week while severely injuring two others. This hitting close to home to another mother who lost her son on the same road in 2011.
"I went back into the room I had been in, and I sat down on the could. I tried to get my thoughts together because I couldn't believe it," said Julie Vanhook.
Vanhook sat down to talk about her moving in on and how her heart is with the families who were recently shattered with lost loved ones.
"I feel sorry for these families because I know what it's like. I don't know their pain, but I know my pain," said Vanhook. "And there has to be similarities."
Vanhook lost her son Emery in June of 2011.
