Though it will keep our skies clear to mostly clear, temperatures more seasonable and our dew points on the more tolerable end, that high pressure system will eventually slide off to the southeast as we head into the second half of the upcoming work week. The reason is because winds will eventually turn out of the south, since winds turn clockwise around a high pressure system. Our upper air maps suggest that we'll start to see warm air advection, a fancy way to say warm air return to the area, starting Thursday.
