Area rivers, streams, and creeks continue to run high, following last week's rapid snow melt and soaking rain. We'll see more melting today and the rest of the week, with mild air on the way. One area in particular for flooding concerns, the middle fork of the Zumbro River in Dodge Co. near Berne, where an ice jam has formed. If this ice jam breaks up, a quick rise in water could occur. Please stay away from any rising water level in rivers, creeks, streams, or lakes. Water continues over some roads as well, due to poor drainage. Remember, if you encounter a flooded road, please turn around and seek another route.
