Due to the amount of accumulated snow and rapid melting, flooding is a risk in the region this spring. Olmsted County anticipates that some roads may be affected. To ensure safety when driving, Olmsted County officials encourage residents to visit its Facebook page or webpage for road closings in the area.

Olmsted County warns motorists that driving through water is dangerous. Vehicles can be swept away in only several inches of moving water.

AREAS IMPACTED:

-Intersection of 54th Street N to 100th Ave N (Cty Rd 129)
-Oxbow Park has been Closed.
-48th Street NE at the intersection of County Road 124
-County Road 24 near Wabasha County Road 2 by Elgin
-County Road 143 west of County Road 11 (3 Blocks Closed from Intersection) 
-Re-Opened Olmsted County Road 21 by Wabasha and Olmsted County Line
