(ABC 6 News) – EA Therapeutic Health, a Rochester-based non-profit that offers physical rehabilitation and adaptive health programs is receiving over 3 million dollars in new funding.

The gifts are part of two different grants – one from the Mayo Clinic totaling 40 thousand dollars and the other 3-million dollars grant from the Harper Family Foundation.

This funding will allow EA to advance its efforts to ensure that children and adults living with physical disabilities, long-term medical conditions, or chronic pain will have access to essential specialized support regardless of their ability to pay.

“It’s always a balance of offering discounted access to services as well as maintaining the business side of things so as a nonprofit we are just… These kinds of donations are essential to us were excited to build this part of our practice which is the all-access equitable access to every person,” EA Therapeutic Health CEO/Founder Melanie Brennan said.

EA provides safe and effective therapeutic health services across the lifespan in their state-of-the-art facilities including physical rehabilitation, adaptive health and fitness, and adaptive sports and recreation

The grant will allow the installation of a full-scale All-Access Pathway including a professional volunteer program to increase the number of people who can access services.
