Drug Bust at Byron Home

(ABC 6 News) -- A Byron woman is in custody following an ongoing drug investigation.

Around 8:40 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, The Violent Crimes Task Force and Olmsted County Sheriff’s office conducted a search warrant at 100 block of Byron Ave. North. 


According to Captain Scott Behrns with the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, 43-year-old Michele Vietor was taken into custody after authorities said they found 294 grams of methamphetamine in a purse under a bed.  $9,300 was also seized from the property.

3 vehicles were also towed from the property pending further investigation.  Captain Behrns said the meth has a street value of $7,500.

Vietor faces charges of first-degree drug sales and possession.
