Downtown Ambassadors sharing the love with free flowers in Rochester

(ABC 6 News) – Rochester Downtown Alliance is working to make this Valentine’s Day extra special.
The downtown Rochester Clean and Safe Ambassadors are partnering with the People’s Food Co-Op to hand out fresh flowers to those walking around downtown.
“Our Ambassadors wanted to do something special above our regular hospitality services,” said Cam Hurd, the Clean and Safe Ambassador Program operations manager, in a press release. “While we couldn’t find anyone selling happiness, flowers are pretty much the same thing!”
The initiative is called “With Love, Downtown Ambassadors,” to bring attention to all the work the Ambassadors do for the community.
The group will be distributing flowers in the Galleria at University Square, Peace Plaza, and the subway and skyway systems from noon to 3:00 p.m. on February 14.
