VIDEO: Small Hands, Big Hearts (Part 1)

(ABC 6 News)-- On Tuesday, Piper and Marek McClaflin turned in their donation check to Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo to help with flooding damage repairs.

Piper is a 7-year-old who lives in Byron and after she saw one of her favorite places get flooded, she wanted to help. She and her brother Marek set up a lemonade stand in hopes to raise money. News of their business received a lot of reaction from the community after it was shared multiple times on Facebook.

The brother and sister duo made 200 dollars and they wanted it all to go to Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo.

Staff Naturalist Clarissa Schrooten and Jaide Ryks were there when Piper and Marek gave their donation.

Both staff members say that donation amount was quite large for little Piper and Marek.
