A cluster of storms will be developing over the Dakotas early Thursday morning, and we'll be tracking them as they move SE throughout the morning & early afternoon. Our broad area of high pressure, which has been keeping our skies clear & quiet, thanks to dry air, should limit our rain potential on Thursday to a few isolated t-storms. The reason? The dry air looks to win out, and should break up the cluster as it moves SE. Therefore, Thursdays Downtown in Rochester should go on a-ok. Friday holds a similar forecast, a few isolated t-storms here and there. Not enough to washout any outside plans/activities, such as the Mower County Relay for Life events.
