The snow will taper off by the early afternoon, with slick roads the result from the snow. Then comes the wind for the afternoon and evening. This will create blowing and drifting snow concerns all over the area, as the NW wind will be gusting to/over 35 mph. Ditches are full, or very close to maximum, meaning the snow will easilly blow right across the roads, creating drifts. This will be the case especially out in the open, and on the local/county roads, or any that have had very little maintenance. So expect difficult driving conditions as the day goes on, especially out in the open areas. Before heading out the door, make sure you are dressed accordingly, put the survival kit in the car, and top off the tank of gas!
