UPDATE: Investigators Narrow Down Cause of Pro Trucking Fire

(ABC 6 News) - UPDATE: 6/17 - The State Fire Marshal's Office and the insurance investigator have narrowed the cuase of the fire at Pro Trucking in Albert Lea to one of the semis in the structure.

They are still investigating how and why the June 10 fire started.

Authorities said Pro Trucking sustained heavy fire and smoke damage after the 7,000 square foot maintenance shop caught on fire. 

According to a press release, a neighbor called 911 to report heavy smoke coming from the building. Crews arrived and find the shop on fire. Authorities said it took crews about an hour to control the fire, and then remained on scene until 1 a.m. to put out hot spots. 

According to the Albert Lea Fire Department, no employees were inside at the time of the fire and no one was injured. 

The damage is still being estimated at this time. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Firefighters in Albert Lea were dispatched to a fire at Pro Trucking, located at 77917 209th St in Albert Lea, around 8:45 p.m. Monday.

Austin, Glenville and Hollendale Fire Departments were called in to assist the Albert Lea Fire Department.
