(ABC 6 News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a theft that took place on a Rochester construction site last week.
Construction equipment worth $2,600 was stolen from a privately contracted truck parked on a Minnesota Department of Transportation site, according to Sergeant James Schueller.
The robbery happened on the northwest intersection of Highway 52 and 70th Ave SE.
Schueller said the incident took place between 8 p.m. on Sept. 5 and 6:15 a.m. on Sept. 6.
Schueller said the vehicle was locked.
The items stolen from an attached toolbox include impact drills, ribbon guns and various hand tools.
