(ABC 6 News) - A Mason City man was given two life sentences on Monday for killing his grandparents in 2017.
The judge said Codie Matz will serve those two sentences concurrently without the possibility of parole.

During his sentencing Matz addressed the court reiterating that he pleaded guilty because he wanted to take responsibility for his actions.
