Byron Middle School gets $100K grant to help 'reimagine' school

Byron, MINN. (ABC 6 News) - Byron Middle School has been awarded a $100,000 grant to help reimagine the purpose and focus of school.

The grant is given by the Bush Foundation Grant and will be used to meet the needs of all students in today's classrooms.


“We are excited to continue our partnership with the Bush Foundation through the second phase of grant support," said Principal Richard Swanson.

"The Bush Foundation values the design principles of building student agency, providing authentic experiences and assessments, leveraging effective technology use, providing deep and individualized learning, and serving all students."
