Once again, cold air in the region and a bit of a breeze will come together to create dangerous wind chills across our region. A Wind Chill Advisory is in place to our north where Wind Chills reaching towards -25° will be the most common. Locally, a bank of clouds passing through north Iowa just after midnight will stunt the cold just enough, keeping the worst of the conditions away. To the north, there is less impact expected. Our wind chills will range from -10 to -25° overnight, with the coldest of that range likely in the northern communities like Rochester and Owatonna.
Air temperatures will range from -4 to -10° at their lowest.
