We are in the cross hairs of a big winter storm, which will bring heavy snow, wind, and therefore travel difficulties to the area. Timing out the snow, it will arrive after 4 PM Monday, with the heaviest snow falling Monday night into early Tuesday morning. Visibility will be low, wind will cause drifting concerns, Tuesday morning and again Tuesday evening. Unlike the last storm, we are expecting high snowfall totals for the area by Tuesday afternoon. 1" to 3" is likely west of I-35. Along I-35, east to HWY 52 (MN) & 18 (IA), 3" to 7". Along and east of HWY 52 & 18, 7" to 10".
