(ABC 6 News) - The Dodge County Sheriff's Office said Friday they are monitoring a large ice dam south of Berne on the Middle Fork of the Zumbro River.
In a press release, the sheriff's office said the dam is just west of the highway 57 bridge and has backed up a large amount of water on the river.
The sheriff's office said if the dam breaks loose it could cause a large amount of water to be pushed down the river towards Pine Island and could affect homes and properties along County Road 24.
