Missing Belle Plaine Teen Has Been Located Safe

(ABC 6 News) -- The search for a missing Belle Plaine teen has been called off. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension released a statement late Wednesday night saying, 15-year-old Andrew James Raymond Cunat has been located safe. 

No further details were given about when and where the teen was found. But police would like to thank all those involved with helping look for him.

(ABC 6 News) - The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Belle Plaine Police Department is asking for help in locating a missing 15-year-old.

Authorities said Andrew James Raymond Cunat was last seen leaving Belle Plaine High School around 9 p.m. Tuesday after a track meet in La Suer.

Cunat is described as 5'8", 115 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.  He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black Nike hoodie, gray sneakers with white bottoms and a black Adidas backpack with blue stripes on the side.

Authorities said this is very unusual behavior and that they are concerned for his welfare.
