Disclaimer - The icon for Barry is not accurate based on where the system would be but is purely to show where the left over energy would be.
As Tropical Storm Barry, possibly strengthening to a Category 1 Hurricane by Saturday, starts to make its way inland and weakens back into a tropical depression and such, it's strength is still going to be influencing the jet stream. That means that our winds are going to stay out of the south from Saturday/Sunday through the end of next week. Long range models are suggesting that temperatures will range in the upper 80s to low 90s with dew points in the upper 70s to mid 80s!
Because we really haven't seen heat like this yet, it's important that you make sure you're staying hydrated and cool. Make sure that your pets are staying hydrated and cool as well, limit their time outdoors and make sure that you aren't leaving any pets or persons in cars.
