(ABC 6 News) A new center for people with autism will open its doors Tuesday in Rochester.
Caravel Autism Health is hosting a ribbon cutting and grand opening at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon at 1470 Industrial Drive NW.
The therapy center will decrease wait times for treatment in Minnesota where Caravel says one in 42 children have autism.
Specialists will be able to provide diagnosis and individualized autism treatment programs.
Therapy plans will help children develop skills, create connections and gain confidence.
Caravel says therapy can be done at the center or at the person's home.
