(ABC 6 News) – An Austin teen accused of possessing a gun in connection with a fatal shooting received a 60-month (5-year) prison sentence May 8.

Owyn Enrique Raul Bellikka received 63 days’ credit for time spent at the Mower County Jail.

Bellikka was taken into custody after law enforcement arrested a 16-year-old suspect for the alleged murder of Opoka James Bot Lob Nathanael.

Court documents alleged that video footage showed the 16-year-old firing a gun, then handing it to Bellikka, who also fired the weapon.

A review of Bellikka’s criminal history shows he was previously adjudicated delinquent for 2nd-degree assault with a dangerous weapon dated July 12, 2023.

(ABC 6 News) — An Austin teen has entered a guilty plea for illegal possession of a firearm.

Owyn Enrique Raul Bellikka, 18, was charged after video recovered by police showed him shooting guns with the juvenile suspect in a fatal shooting that happened in February.

The plea comes after Bellikka initially pleaded not guilty on March 17.
