(ABC 6 News) - An Austin nonprofit that helps latino families has been awarded more than $20,000.
Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio (CLUES) will use the grant money to give respite to seniors and their caregivers, as well as live stream a Spanish program on healthy eating, exercise and the proper use of medications.
The grant money was given as part of the Minnesota Department of Human Services 'Live Well at Home' grants.
“These grants help diverse communities throughout Minnesota provide services that help older Minnesotans navigate their everyday lives,” Harpstead said. “This can include familiar services such as transportation and caregiver assistance or creative approaches that support people in new ways.”
